17th June - Latest newsletter uploaded Oxhey come 2nd in BAGSD Southern Area Interbranch! Despite the heat and having to cobble together a team Oxhey finished 2nd out of 12 teams in the obedience competition held at Camberley on 11th May. Team members were: Yasuko Sturman & Ellie 1sr Novice Yasuko Sturman & Zena 2nd Novice Dorothy Bignall & Cella 5th Beginner Daniella Kadleckova & Archie 6th Beginner John Young & Arnie 2nd place in Pre-Beginners May Parker & Kaz 14th Pre-Beginners

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to report the death of Ken Newton. Ken passed away on Wednesday 13th June in Barnet General Hospital after suffering from pneumonia. He will be missed by all of his freinds at Oxhey and the rest of the obedience community that knew him. Ken's funeral will take place at St john fisher and St thomas moore RC Church 28 Rossington Aveue Borehamwood WD6 4LA From 11am on Tuesday 26th June. Carol his wife has requested family flowers only.
